Steven W. Domnitz, MD
Dr. Domnitz graduated from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 1986 and completed his residency training at New York Downtown Hospital. Dr. Domnitz has led the way in minimally invasive surgery in New Jersey, having performed his first Laparoscopic Hysterectomy in 1992, less than three years after the world's first such case was performed. He continues at the forefront of minimally invasive and robotic surgery, having been featured in television and newspaper stories for the many "firsts" he's performed over the years. Although he can be considered a local celebrity having appeared on TLC's "A Baby Story", and Bravo's "Real Housewives of New Jersey", his down to earth and friendly bedside manner make him relatable on all levels. Dr. Domnitz has a passion for teaching, giving lectures and regularly teaching his minimally invasive surgical techniques to other physicians. His professional interests include all facets of obstetrics and gynecology but he particularly enjoys treating endometriosis, fibroids and bleeding irregularities. Dr. Domnitz's impressive resume includes holding such positions at Chilton Medical Center as the Vice Chairman of the Foundation Board of Trustees, Medical-Dental Staff President and Chairman of the Department of OB/GYN. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two grown children enjoying a variety of outdoor activities.
Nina Mohammed, MD
Dr. Mohammed attended Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia after receiving an AB degree in Chemistry from Bryn Mawr College. Upon finishing her medical studies, she completed her internship and residency at Temple University Hospital in 1994 and has been in private practice ever since. She enjoys educating patients and students alike having served as a clinical Instructor for both medical students and residents. Although she has a specific interest in minimally invasive surgery for abnormal uterine bleeding and urinary incontinence, with her vast knowledge, thorough exams, and warm personality she is able to provide comprehensive care to patients from adolescence through menopause. Dr. Mohammed is an avid long distance runner and has competed in distances ranging from 5K to marathons. She lives with her three sons in Glen Rock, NJ.
Seymour Eisner, MD
Dr. Seymour Eisner has extensive experience in caring for women's reproductive needs. After completing a rotating internship at the Philadelphia General Hospital, he joined the US Air Force serving as a flight surgeon. At the completion of his military service, he returned to the Philadelphia General Hospital to finish his residency and went on to establish his own OB/GYN practice in 1962. In 1973, Dr. Eisner joined Dr. Bernard Simon to establish the Wayne Obstetrical Group, which is now known as Associates in Women's Healthcare. Some of Dr. Eisner's professional accomplishments include being elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and serving as Chairman of the OB/GYN Department of Chilton Medical Center from 1986-1990. Dr. Eisner's practice is office based with a particular interest in the care of postmenopausal women.
Wingkan Sbar, MD
After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Sbar earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. She completed her residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and then spent several years at a busy practice just outside of Philadelphia. Having been born in Hong Kong, China, Dr. Sbar is fluent in Cantonese and she has also spent two years living in London allowing her to bring worldly experience and perspective to her OB/GYN practice. When Dr. Sbar isn't in the office she enjoys relaxing and spending time with her three sons and husband. She is full of energy and is sure to put you at ease during your exam.
Priyanka Goel Venugopal, DO
Dr. Goel received her undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University before earning her Masters in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Goel then completed her medical degree at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in California and began her residency training at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Goel had initially been interested in using her degree for a career in research but after completing her obstetric rotation, she fell in love with helping bring new life into the world. After performing her first delivery, she knew that obstetrics and gynecology was the only field she wanted to specialize in. In addition to her sunny disposition and up to date knowledge base, Dr. Goel is also fluent in Hindi making her a culturally competent asset to our practice. When she is not working, Dr. Goel enjoys spending time with her husband and young son.
Melissa Bentley, APN
Melissa obtained her BSN from Felician College in 2001 then went on to attend The University of Medicine and Dentistry where she earned her Master's degree in women's health care in 2012. Melissa spent 12 years working as an RN on labor and delivery at Chilton Medical Center along side Dr. Domnitz and Dr. Mohammed where her passion for women's health care blossomed. Being young at heart herself, Melissa has a specific interest in working with adolescents as well as contraception management but also enjoys counseling women of all ages. Melissa's ability to transition easily from caring for one age group to the next demonstrates her experience and expertise in the field. When she's not in the office, she loves to spend time with her husband and two sons.
Emily Elizabeth Pomante, MSN, WHNP
Emily is a graduate of William Paterson University in Wayne where she received her bachelor's of science in nursing before going on to study women's health at Rutgers University Newark. She graduated in 2015 earning her masters degree as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Emily has two years experience as a medical/surgical nurse and over two and a half years experience working as a labor and delivery nurse at Chilton Medical Center. Emily is passionate about women's health and finds that through her role as an NP she is able to educate, empower, and encourage women to make their health a priority. She is a self proclaimed "health nut" enjoying healthy eating and all forms of fitness. She is especially interested in distance running and obstacle course racing having earned her Spartan Trifecta in 2015 and recently completing her first half marathon in 2016.
